Dave Husic plays fiddle, guitar and mandolin, and began playing old-time and bluegrass music as a teenager in the mid 1970’s in Bucks County (PA), and later in Michigan for a decade before returning to PA in mid-80’s. Dave’s musical sources, teachers, and inspirations were primarily the countless musicians he has encountered in informal settings at jam sessions and festivals over those many years, primarily in PA, MI, OH, and WV.

 

In his 50 years of playing fiddle, Dave has performed with a variety of old-time and bluegrass bands based in PA and MI, and in recent years, with the Poconos-based “Lost Ramblers”. Dave enjoys sharing, teaching and learning old-time fiddle tunes with both accomplished and aspiring musicians at all stages of their individual musical journeys!

Each Master Workshop has 12 spaces for students.
