Bass = Happiness!
This session is for anyone who wants to play bass and wants a place to get started with the most basic stuff. You do not need to know anything about playing bass to succeed in this session. You do not need to read music. You do not need to bring a bass but are welcome to bring either an upright bass or bass guitar. The instructor will allow students to work with her bass.
In one session, you will learn hold and tune the bass, how to play the open strings to play a tune in the key of D and, if the tune in the key of D comes easily enough play either another tune in the key of D or move to a different key.
Banjo accompaniment will be provided by Tom Druckenmiller. Handouts will also be provided.
