Betty plays fiddle and sings with The Druckenmillers, often including Norm Williams. She teaches fiddle at her home and at Meadowood Music. She has both taught and led Family Week at The Augusta Workshop in Elkins WV. A long-time early childhood educator, she's developed expertise in teaching adult beginning fiddle students, and heartily believes that the arts are too important to be left to the professionals.

She is a founding member of the Maidencreek Old-Time Music Festival.
