Jeff Norman is a clawhammer banjo player currently living just outside Scranton, PA. He grew up in North Carolina, and learned to play traditional Old-tIme tunes while living in Southwest VA, where he was also a founding member of the Happy Hollow String Band. Later, Jeff started demonstrating banjos for Elderly Instruments on youtube and is often recognized as "that Elderly guy" at festivals. More-recently, Jeff has played both banjo and guitar in a variety of pickup bands with regional fiddlers, including Dave Husic, Max Rainwater, and Brian Vollmer, and has a banjo/fiddle duet called Banjo Playdate.
