Mountain Dulcimer: Playing with a Quill and Noter
In this Noter class, I’m planning to cover how this style of playing came about (basically using what you had on hand, sticks or river cane for a noter and a stripped turkey feather to strum.)
We’ll strip some feathers in class and look at different possibilities for noters. Then it’s time to tune up and play in a style that’s pretty rare around here.
